Same here. :(

Edit: And I was happy to have found a Made in Japan one too - it was the last one. But $80? Hell no...

I've been waiting for a good deal on DVDRs. The fuji +Rs are usually RicohJPN. Not bad since you can burn those at 6 times confidently. At 8 times also but I would not take that chance on media you really care about.

If you get the Fuji T-Y 8x DVD+Rs, those are YUDEN T02 or whatever, some people report those burning at 12x and even 16x.

Newegg sells them for $61.99+ $4 shipping.

Did you see them in an ad or what? If there's something I can bring in that proves they should be $34.99, that would be great, since they rang up at $79.99 for me last night. :(

I've been searching for some inexpensive 16x DVD+R's since I got my burner a few weeks back...

Check the OP...... Link.. Picture show 4X, but they could be 8X in the store (made in Japan).

I did see that. Maybe I'll print out the page and bring it in to the store later just to try again. Last night I only saw one 100-pack of the DVD+R, and it was Made in Japan 8x (=16x). So, assuming it's still there....I might get lucky. The website lists my local store as being in stock too, so who knows. I just hope they haven't restocked with the 4x or the Made in Taiwan or anything...

Of course, I guess I could always order online for instore pickup too, but then it's really a crapshoot...

Edit: I'm just not very encouraged by the other posters in this thread who said their BB didn't match the website price...

Buy online for instore pickup. If it's Taiwan, buy mij pack for full price. Return Taiwan using mij receipt. (They're the same upc code). This may begin to push you towards the "devil" category ;). To us it's a different product but to BB they're the same.

edit: the Taiwan discs are also high quality, as noted above.

Genius! That's a great idea. This is why I love AT. :D

Oh, and I have no problems being a "devil" customer. ;)

This was a good deal. I just received my order today and it was the Made in Japan 8x ones. I was expecting 4x.
