and their will was to elect Bush

Bush didn't win the popular vote.

Not only are you a rotten American UDT, but you are an ignorant one as well. The American people foted for Gore, the electoral college, after the Supreme Coup prevented a recount of the florida vote that would have given Gore the Presidency, selected Bush to be President by handing over the incorrect count to be certified. Gore is who the American people chose as for Pres. Of course nobody who doesn't understand the sacred duty of every American to question the government wouldn't be expected to know that either.

All things have good and bad sides, what we need to get used to is that not everything can satisfy the masses.

You baffle me more and more with each post...

What im trying to say is.........that giving gov't law enforcement agencies to do things that really test the constitution we will lose certain freedoms, but we will be safer.

etc.

It wasn't the will of those who didn't vote for him. Our wills are independent, and they like to bitch and moan:D

its another topic, b/c the current system is the electoral college. The popular vote shouldnt even be a factor since the deciding factor is the electoral college.

The popular vote is, in my opinion, the correct way to go. BUT, its not the system currently in place. So its another topic, in that the gov't should use popular vote not electoral college.

We got two coasts, at anytime you can leave if you really dont like the way its going. Thats one freedom you DO have.

...we whine because we have the freedom to do so. If you don't like it, we got two coasts, at anytime you can leave if you really don't like the way it's going.

Great post.

Where did it get personal except, of course, when you said you ignore me. Hehe. What's personal about challenging your ideas by reflecting them back at you.

Put it this way. It's a real citizen's duty to voice any disagreement he has with his government. Everybody else hasn't earned the right to be an American. You don't degenerate into a dictatorship if people voice their opinions and fight for them too. It's the go alongs and apologists, the lemmings, to borrow a phrase, that are the problem, that are the source of totalitarianism. You are just lazy and comfortable. You don't like having your sleep disturbed by rumors of unsetteling notions afoot in the land. You might be forced to think, or worce yet take a stand.

Ah, so you feel like a commie toadie eh. I struck a nerve. I intended that more as the kind of remark that comes from the goons, I mean nice people that tell real patriots that take seriously their duty to be heard seriously. It's the real patriots that are always getting called commies.
