$1000 gaming PC has to be bought from Fryes Electronics

A friend of mine is leaving town on Tuesday and wants to put together a gaming PC, so tonight we are going to Fryes to get his stuff.

Its not my preferred way of doing it but it is what it is so I need some help. Is anyone familiar with this store (I live in the NW) and if yes, are you familiar with any deals they have going on right now that would fall in line with what he needs?

The games he will play will be FPS.. .like BF2 or Call of Duty 4...

He has nothing right now, he will build everything from scratch. ANY help would be greatly appriciated.

BTW, he is not a fan boy, so Intel or AMD works fine... my main concern really is the available MOBOs at Fryes....
 
look at your local newspaper for fry's ads. here in DFW they have a 12 page flyer with the deals for friday and the weekend. they usually have pretty decent prices and far better selection than a best buy or circuit city.

Our Friday paper didn't have them in, which was strange. But the google idea is good, thanks! 🙂
