$1000 credit card bill, and every item is $20 or less

Back to the topic.
I'm actualy starting a budget this month.
I'm doing a simplified route to track my expenses.

1) Everything I spend using my credit card will be listed.
2) Everything coming directly from my checking account will be listed.
3) Everytime I take money out of the bank(ATM), I'll deduct that whole amount from my budget instead of keeping track of everything little purchase.

Those 3 things will cover 100% of my expenses monthly.
It will be interesting to see how much will I be saving every month.

Yup, that's how addition works. They usually cover it in 3rd grade.
Canada > US. I was given the basics in grade one 😀

I actually went to elementary school in what used to be USSR at the time. So yeah, I too was given the basics in 1st grade.

I remember knowing how to add before 1st grade (american public schools suck, so my parents taught me 🙂)

i know exactly what you mean. those suckers build up, fortunately i too never spend more than what i have. and i honestly don't see how or why people would spend money they don't have. it's simply scary that there's a chance of not being able to pay it back for whatever reason.

my 3k bill is reduced to 1k this month thanks to my talk with my wife, hopefully, it'll stay that low.

Stuff adds up.

Yesterday took care of some stuff. Grocery store $46. Sporting good store 62.64. New glasses 240.

Money flows like water sometimes. Just keep an eye on it.

wow.. what a deceiving illusion. I never would have imagined that it added up to $1000.

I now understand when my family/friends say they have no idea where their $ goes. (But i still dont understand why they go into credit card debt.)

Luckily i have the $ to pay it off.

umm.. is this your first time? .
