You'd have a very Nice, Small, reasonably quite, good performer with room to upgrade a little. One PCI slot open and the ability to go to Dual Core later if you feel like it.

To the best of my knowledge, only nForce4 currently supports dual core when it comes out. My memory could be wrong, but I do not believe that NF3 will support dual core.

My rig, first build, cost me $1032, its in my sig. Add a NEC 3520A to that (its counted in the $1032.)

having said that, I would do this. Get a gig of corsair value from zzf (i bought this ram cuz it was cheap, only $160 and I just felt like spending some cash since I didn't get an x800XL), also get an X800xl for $300. I would reccomend getting everything else that I have, case is your choice. Wanna dave cash, dont get a 3200+ get a 3000+ or dont get a dvd drive. Simple as that.
