Ignore system specs listed in sig. The specs are:

P4C 2.6Ghz @ 3.31Ghz
Abit IC7
2x512 Corsair XMS TwinX PC4000
36GB Raptor
120GB Western Digital 8MB cache
6800GT
SB Live! 5.1
NEC 2510A DVD+/-RW
420W Thermaltake PSU

I was thinking either an Audigy or one of those cool Ultra X-Connect modular power supplies. I had also considered a 2nd Raptor for RAID0. Basically I sold a ton of old stuff on ebay and I want to spend a part of what I made.

As for what I do w/ the computer. I play games (far too much:) ), a lot of MatLab, and I am getting into Maya.

Any thoughts would be great. Thanks.

Lights, nicer case.

The 420w ps seems fine. You should just buy cable sleeving and sleeve it yourself. A bigger upgrade might be a move to a a64 system :)

Pixle.

Just moved from an A64. Yes, I may be crazy, but I wanted to give HT a shot. And I wasnt all that Wowed my by A64 machine I guess.

As for a nicer case, I currently have a CoolerMaster Wavemaster which I think is really nice. I may get a case window...maybe I shouldnt let my money burn a whole in my pocket.
