Saw in the sunday ads that compUSA has 100 pack of TDK CD-R's for 19.99. It may have a rebate I don't recall but TDK are least name brand. Of course name brand doesn't mean much these days.

Compusa site says:
After Savings & Rebates: $20.00 Mfr. mail-in rebate. Regular Retail Price: $39.99

Nice find-- they're 12x!

EDIT: Anyone know if BBuy, CCity, Omax or OD stocks this for a price match? (I have to drive 1 hr to Compusa). Thanks

It's from TDK, but it might be outsourced from a Taiwan factory, especially at this price, and especially if it's selling at CompUSA. It would be nice if someone bought a spindle and tested it out and let us know.

Cloudchief, thanks for the post. This is probably not "Certified Plus" because when I placed one of my TDKs in my burner, it IDs as TDK and not Ritek. If it's Ritek, that's the same quality as Memorex and other lower quality brands.
