My brother & I have gone through several spindles of these CD-R discs & have had about a 99% success rate. These are good discs & worth the money. I've seen the 100 pack as low as $7.00 before. I believe it was Black Friday last year at Fry's.

Hasn't this been a constant deal for about a month now - seems to be $4.50 for 50 GQ 52x/700Mb every time I got to Fry's.

I've burnt about 200 of these fine.

I believe the $7 deal was the 25th Anniversary sale, but they were 48x and not GQ

Also, if you want to buy more than one per customer, as if you can put one pack on a card and cash for another.

If you're buying from Outpost, then it comes to approximately $9 plus almost $10 shipping and handling (which I probably should have expected by now).

$20 for a 100 good CDRs is still a good deal to me, but not quite hot enough for me to jump on it right now.

gq sucks. cd's scratch really eaisly. but hey, for the money, go for it. burnable cds for the car

imho, go with black cds 🙂

and my NEC dvd writer didn't recognize these DVD's. gonna take them back either tonight or tomorrow

The first GQ I got was 50 pieces of sh*t. But after then, all I got was fine. I didn't have virtually any problem in burning them. Not sure how good they are in retaining those data. I didn't have much occasions to get back to those cds yet. 🙂

However, if you don't mind mail-in-rebates, there are cheaper blank medias out there.

really? my nec 2500a burns em at 4x just fine. my old ass sony dvd player plays them fine. try a new firmware.

I have stacked about 300 of those...

never had problem.. much better than any other cheap brands.

i bought 200 spindle from PC club for 9 cents per CD.... those were crap..

I bought these a couple weeks ago. They wont burn on faster than 40 on my 48x lite-on. They also dont overburn very well. But other than that it's a pretty good deal for the price.

Out of about 700 or so cd burns in my life, (and most of them were el cheapo brands) I have only ever had a problem with compusa brand and GQ. The GQ are ok in general, but I have had about 4 bad burns out of 40 total. Lowering the speed to 40x has taken care of most of the problems, but even then I had one bad burn. This may not seem like a lot, but I had NEVER had a bad burn beforehand (that wasn't one of those compusa duds).
