Yeah, no kidding. The first couple seasons were the onyl truely funny ones. Once two of the main characters hook up (in any sitcom) it turns into a friggin soap opera/chick flick, and most of the humor evaporates, leaving behind only mildly funny inside jokes and crappy one liners.

Cool, I see...

I got confused; I found the first 7 seasons box set for $259. You have to get season 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 individually to get the $100 discount, and then it's a total of $139.

Heh... I'm thinking about getting this for my gf as a gift for taking the mcat after months of studying, but I'm like, "do I really want to watch all seven seasons of friends? or even one season?"

There's also a coupon inside the Season 7 box for an additional $10MIR when you buy Season 7 and any additional season at the same time.

I'm getting it for my girlfriend for graduation . . . I will also be sure to get Cheers at the same time and if necessary, we can alternate. I can sleep during Friends and enjoy Cheers. If only there were as good a deal on the Cheers DVDs when THEY came out!

well, last time i got the deal for my gf from bb when 6th season came out... it was a good deal and i was watching friends after that for a while...

then again, its kinda neat to watch friends all the way through!

"The One Where Paul's The Man" <-- this one is pretty good... its in the 6th season :p

SO... if you plan to get this for your gf... plan on watching it!

Thanks! I got this for my GF last night. Several of the box sets have the buy this and another for $10 off. We did not open them to find out the details yet so hopefully we can do that tonight. Also picked up the Matrix : Revolutions and watched that last night.

I saw Revolutions in the theater also. For $15 it is worth it for the video collection. Not sure when we are going to start with the friends box sets because it will take awhile to go through 7 of them.
