I shoot competetive skeet/sporting clays and can tell you Beretta is a great firearm. They have a huge percentage of the market out there and for good reason. Their semi-autos can go for thousands of rounds without issue in any type of weather. If you're into waterfowling you may want to look at the Benelli(a Beratta company I think) which is recoil operated and will literally keep on working after being dropped in the muck. Depends on your application. I've been shooting a Beretta 682 O/U for 15yrs, somtimes 500-700 rounds in a day, and have yet to break something or have it malfunction... damn... just jinxed myself didn't I 🙁

Excellent example of our 'unbiased' media reporting only the facts and not colorful personal interpretations of them...
Jesus Christ! I'm an ardent progunner who supported Michigan's CCW bill, and that headline makes me want to cut-up my Lifetime NRA membership card and move to Canada.

Of course, the law doesn't 'allow' people to do anything they couldn't already do. Florida has had CCW in public for over a decade now. It is a restraint on zealous prosecutors who hold contempt for the right of self-defense.

Awesome! So if some punk threatens you with a knife and demands your wallet, you just whip this thing out and blast his face off!

We will see how this plays out.

There were about four political comments before mine, so go cry to the person who opened that can of worms, baby.

If they opened the can, you took the (flame)bait.
Name calling is the calling card of a P&N/OT wannabe, not one of the more reputable HD posters.

Apparently Mr Bush has never heard the term, "innocent bystanders".

It's called "collateral damage."

Do they sell BFG 9000's here? I'm looking for a good deal on one.

How many times have you heard of an "innocent bystander" getting shot when a good guy is defending his life? I have never heard if it but it could be possible. Most people who use guns in defence know what they are doing. You can't get a conceled weapons permet in most states with out some training/qualifing.

Please don't talk about things that you know nothing about.

Also it is called a slug/shot not a bullet comeing out of a shotgun.

Plenty of times, when it involves a police shooting. But rarely a citizen defensive gun use.
