Full size cases, not the slim kind. I ordered 200 and the shipping stayed at $5.20 for priority mail. This works out to be about .18 apiece.

Jewel Cases

I've had good success in dealing with simplybargains before.

heh, I tossed nearly 100 CD jewel cases (from my music CDs) in the trash a couple of days ago. A waste of space IMHO Not thread crapping, just found it amusing.

Thanks for the link.... I like using jewel cases and this saves me a trip to the computer show just to get them, which cost 5 bucks to get in and a 100 mile round trip...

Why people can't keep there mouth shut if they aren't interested in a deal is beyond me!

fatboy!

If you're real cheap like me, you use paper sleeves. BJ's Wholesale Club has them, 200 for something like $8.

This is a good price on CD cases (assuming they are good quality) but I hate paying more for the cover than the contents.

If this is true - you just saved me a bundle!
I had another window open, ordering sleeves when I checked back here!

They have 200ct for less than $10?
I was just about to order them online for $7./100 + shipping!

Thanks!

You don't happen to have a sku# or item# handy on these, do you?
I called 2 BJ's in the area and they are both telling me that they don't carry them?!!
BTW - I'm in western NY area.

Any help would be great!

i tried to order the clear ones but the shipping was 28.20 for priority and 15.55 for ups
so i called them and they said the shipping on 200 priority is 7$
total 2*15.95+7=39$

Hey... just saw this at compusa B&M... 50 packs of full cd jewel cases for 10 bucks each. Thought you might be interested. Its just about the same price, but this way you get them now if you want...

VHS2000:

I don't have a sku # on the sleeves, but the UPC code (on one of four boxes of 50 "CD/DVD Window Envelopes" that are shrink wrapped together) is 92253 51090. I'm in central Connecticut and noticed them again in the West Hartford, CT BJ's last week.

They are made by Nobility Envelope Co. of Union, NJ.

Thanks for the info!
I called BJ's, gave them the number, they showed up in the computer,
4 packs of 50 for under $9.00. Only problem is they're "on order" & not in stock right now.
So, I'll just wait a little longer!

Thanks again!! 🙂

<< Office Depot B&M carries the paper sleeves....I don't know if they are online though.... >>

thanks. paper sleeves sure save alot of room. havent been to OD for a long time.. i guess ill drop by this week. 🙂

If you like the slim style jewel cases, Office Max has them at $4.95 per 50 pack with no rebate involved. I bought 2 packs of them yesterday. 2 of the cases fit very nicely into a regular slot in a cabinet. The only problem I can see with them is that there is very little room for a label on their edge. Brand is Belkin. Very good quality for 10 cents a piece.

I get my paper sleeves from rima.com

$40 for 1000. Nice quality, not recycled. 1000 is a lot for me though so I've be good to go for a while.

Why do you guys get paper sleeves?

Don't you know this will ruin your nice original CD's by scratching them?

I can't believe you'd throw out the original jewel case. I hope you took out the artwork and kept it, if not, you might wish you had, someday.
