The last deal BB had for AT&T CDRs, the check was sent by Verbatim.Originally posted by: Auric
P.S. what's the deal with AT&T brand CD's? I've never seen those before but such obvious licensing is really bordering on lunacy. While it might seem a great idea in the boardroom, I assure corporate America that I, for one, am generally suspicious of such products -not unlike "GE" electronics and appliances and "Sears" services. The increasing desperation of corporate marketing is so sad. But I digress... :disgust:

I can't say that all CDR's made in little steps, fan your face, Kimono land (Japan) are Taiyo Yuden, but it sure seems like it in my experience. And so I took the chance and bought it, made sure, now I'm informing you all to the GREAT news.

You got your check already? The last deal for AT&T CD-R's ended only a few days ago!
Lately that's been true for me too. I have seen Fujis made in Taiwan, but that's been a couple years ago.Originally posted by: MindStorm
From my experiences, all Fuji's are Made in Japan.

Hmmm......I have never heard of them. Do they make CD-Rs for anyone else to relabel that I might know about? Are they even available in the US at retail stores?Originally posted by: SludgeFactory

AFAIK, Japanese-made CDR's generally have a good reputation for quality.

Perhaps I'm not as much of a CD-R aficionado, but my Imation 100pks seem to work just fine at 48x, and they're on sale for $14.99 June 1-7 Instantly. Other than coasters, is there some other feature I should care about for CDRs?
Don't know if they sell relabels or not, or even how available they might be at B&M's. You can get them online, but the BB Fuji price is so good that I've never gone to great lengths to hunt down Mitsui.Originally posted by: Ronstang

C1 & C2 error. Low quality discs can have more, and/or be more prone to developing them over time. This can lead to unreadable blocks on the CD. Bye bye data.Originally posted by: Whiskyboy
