50 pack buy one get one free.
I was running low on CD's and found this at my local Kmart
I was surprised to see ?made in japan? on the disk when I opened them. Nero ID'd them as Taiyo Yuden?s. I know Fuji used to use TY?s but I thought they?d started using someone else. Anyhow...
The packaging on the ones I got from my local store was more a greenish/gold. Not blue like they used to be and like the ad shows.

Link to weekly circular

Oh yeah. As for your local store having them on sale, in stock or being TY's. YMMV

Better quality discs. They will burn faster and make less coasters. Now adays with cd-r's being so cheap, it's not as big a deal as it used to be.

this probably has more to do with the fact that kmart seems to restock infrequently when it comes to these kinds of items... so it's probably just old stock from before fuji switched to the taiwanese manufacturers. still a good find, though.

I don't need cd's that burn better, I need ones that last longer after they're burned. :frown:

Another good reason to get genuine TY's.

Incorrect.. Fuji continues to sell both MIJ and MIT media. The gold packaging is the newer stock, and there has been plenty of the MIJ to choose from in recent deals at K-mart, Best Buy and elsewhere.

I wondered if someone would ask that. I see that happen here frequently. Like their local store will be the same as the one as the OP. I just looked at kmartcorp.com and they have 1416 stores. But just ion case... I went to the one by the 2600S exit. If that means nothing to you it's probably not the same one you shop at. Otherwise you know exactly which one it is.:)

And I think rainman was right.
This Kmart just happens to be close or I'd probably never shop there. It's always cluttered and the customer service is weak at best. I was hoping things would be better after the Sears merger.

Heads up. On Thanksgiving Day Kmart will have those same Fuiji CD-R for 4.99 a spool of 50. Thats 10 cents a CD. 15 Cents a CD is the most I would pay.

I can confirm that the K-mart in Long Beach (California) at Spring and Bellflower has the "made in Japan" Fuji's.

Top shelf. Significant quantity. Look for the Buy 1 Get 1 free sign. Rang up correctly at the register.

Sweet deal. Thanks OP.
