I once had an @Home person come install our broadband and he left a huge box of Cat5 cable behind. To this day (3 years now) he hasn't come back to get it. I haven't used it, but I think I will try. My church recently bought some and 14 ft cables were like 15 bucks. Luckily I had a mass of ethernet cables at home for random reasons to give them.
