the funny things is the majority of Egyptians don't use towels, or even toilet paper for that matter.
Never shake an Egyptian guys left hand

Egyptian cotton is pretty expensive, something like cashmere, I'm awfully surprised at the price of those towels, The thread count is probably pretty low, My sister has a 1000 TC Roberto Cavalli sweater made of Egyptian cotton that ran her like $400+ about $100 of that being for the designers name alone so it's more like a $300 sweater.

heres some examples of the prices of high thread density Egyptian cotton.

Egyptian cotton and (Carolina) Sea Island are considered the finest cottons in the world. They have a very long growing season which makes the fibers very long (hence the name "long-staple cotton"). This allows them to make very soft, smooth fabric and cloth.

Yes, I lived there for over a year, any other questions?

sure there is... where did u live and what have u been doing coz what u said is absolutely rubbish and nonesense.
So you mean they don't take showers or what do they do after having one.

Think you forgot one IMPORTANT thing, they wash 5 times each day for praying unless u were not in Egypt and was just told you are 🙂

After reading the reviews these seem to be hit or miss. Some folks like 'em other are returning 'em. Complaints include uneven color bleeding/washout, non-absorbent, etc.
Hopefully this cotton-pickin' thread will fall off now.
