WALL-E is #1 by far. Pixar can do no wrong.

#2 is Dark Knight. Chris Nolan can do no wrong.

I'll probably go see Indiana Jones and the Crystal Prostate Exam too, but I'm not expecting much.

IronMan is going to suck. I do *not* see how people can get excited about the cliched, juvenile stuff they see in the previews of that travesty.

5/2 - Iron Man Marvel Comics' steel-plated superhero is coming to the big screen, with a stellar cast and amazing effects. Robert Downey Jr. brings humor and humanity to the role of Tony Stark, the billionaire who builds and wears the indestructible armor.

5/9 - Speed Racer The Wachowski Brothers, the creative duo behind The Matrix, return to directing with an altogether different visual extravaganza, the live-action version of a classic anime series. The trailer promises eye-popping sights and a whole lot of speed.

5/16 - The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian The four Pevensie children return to the magical world of Narnia to find 1,300 years have passed and an evil king rules the land. They will need the help of the mighty lion Aslan to restore the young Prince Caspian to his rightful place on the throne.

5/22 - Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Harrison Ford, Steven Spielburg and George Lucas reunite to bring legendary archeologist and adventurer Dr. Henry Jones Jr. (better known as "Indiana") back to the big screen.

5/30 - Sex and the City Four years ago, it looked like Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha had everything they wanted out of life. But life tends to be unpredictable, so it's good to have friends around.

6/13 - The Incredible Hulk Edward Norton takes over the role of Dr. Bruce Banner, on the run from forces that want to use his giant, muscle-bound and green alter ego as a destructive weapon.

6/27 - WALL-E From the director of Finding Nemo, Pixar's next groundbreaking animated film tells the story of a little robot who spends centuries cleaning up garbage all by himself who finally gets a chance to see what excitement the galaxy has to offer.

6/27 - Wanted Angelina Jolie is back in action as a mystery woman named Fox who indoctrinates James McAvoy into a secret fellowship of assassins so highly trained they bend the very laws of physics, with Morgan Freeman as their gun-wielding guru.

7/18 - The Dark Knight Continuing the story of director Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins, Christian Bale returns as the Caped Crusader, this time facing his arch-nemesis, the scarred and scary Joker, played with psychotic menace by Heath Ledger.

8/15 - Tropic Thunder Ben Stiller directs and stars in a comedy about a group of pampered actors who think they're shooting a war movie, but then find themselves in the middle of a real battle zone.

#1 - Indiana Jones
#2 - Speed Racer

I loved the Speed Racer cartoons when I was a kid so even if the movie is going to suck, I still want to see it.

#1 - Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
#2 - The Dark Knight
#3 - Iron Man

I might end up seeing the new Hulk movie, but after the first one I'm a bit skeptical, even if it's a completely different cast, director, etc..

Who is the Speed Racer demographic? I know it's the Wachowskis and all, and I keep reading about how excited certain people are for Speed, but I don't know anyone personally who is a fan. Is it kids they are gonig after? I never heard of it when I was a kid. The poll here indicates it might not be the hit it's hyped to be

I don't really have favorites per say, but I usually enjoy seeing a movie every Friday if I can 🙂. So it's nice to find at least one good movie!

4/25 - Harold and Kumar 2: Escape from Guantanamo Bay - Yes

5/2 - Iron Man - Yes

5/9 - Speed Racer - Maybe

5/16 - The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian - Probably not. Never seen the first one.

5/22 - Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - Maybe. Never been a huge Indy fan.

5/30 - Sex and the City - Oh hell no. The trailers make me want to gouge my eyes out.

6/13 - The Incredible Hulk - Maybe... I can't see that scrawny pale white guy being Bruce Banner though.

6/27 - WALL-E - Yes

6/27 - Wanted - Yes

7/18 - The Dark Knight - Yes

8/15 - Tropic Thunder - Maybe

I've already seen the trailer for every movie up there and most of them looked decent. Although most are action films so there's not too much diversity. I'll probably also be seeing Forgetting Sarah Marshall this Friday. Supposedly it's good...!

It is rare these days for Hollywood to release a movie that I am willing to pony up the cash and effort to see in a theater instead of just waiting until it is available from Netflix. None of the movies in that list meet that criteria for me.

Take out Sex and the City, Tropic Thunder, and Wanted. The rest are must see for me.

1) Indiana
2) Dark Knight
3) Wall-E

But given my track record, there's a 50% likelihood I won't watch *any* of them in theaters and wait for the DVD releases.

The 3-year stretch where the Lord of the Rings movies were coming out, was probably the last time where I REALLY looked forward to a new movie. I've seen some decent movies since then, but nothing that felt like an epic life-event like seeing the LotR was.

I wonder if I'll ever feel that again?

#1 - Wanted
#2 - Indiana Jones
#3 - The Dark Knight

Indy, Dark Knight, Wall-E, Iron Man and Harold and Kumar 2 are the must sees some of the other will depend on reviews / my schedule.

Indiana Jones and Dark Knight are the most interesting looking movies on the list, but I voted none of the above because I am not even sure they are worth seeing in the theater.

1 - The Dark Knight
2 - Prince Caspian
3 - Indiana Jones

Tropic Thunder could be good but I'm going to wait and Netflix that.
