$10 Uber credit for new users

I'm sure these have been posted before, but if one hasn't been posted recently, use code deleted for $10 in credit. Good car service app for android / iphone, major presence in big cities. Use the uberX service in the app for the cheaper service

Is this a coupon code or a referral code? Looks to be a referral, as I have the same type of code if my account. As far as I know, it is against the rules.

You might be right, there are a lot of referral codes for this Uber service it appears.
 
What tipped me off on it was the fact that I actually did put in the 'code' the OP posted, figuring why not as I was about to activate anyways. I figured it was a legit promo code.

Then afterwards I notice I had a code to share to friends to get $10 off for every person who signs up and they get $10 off too. Same format as the OP 'code'.
