Sweet. I have had an idea for awhile but I can;t think of the domain name. I would like to make a site where people send in pics of funny drawings, writings etc on public bathroom stalls

I'm thinking bathroomgraffiti or bathroompoetry.com
 
Ok I couldn't think of a domain for the site I am wanting so I just made one up, kimboslicesucks.com and it was available. I will order with this but will I be able to transfer my domain to this plan when it's ready?
 
My site never was. After 19 hours, they terminated the account and said it was fraud. I payed with Paypal. What a joke! Everyone that has an account seems to be happy with them though, so good luck!

Yes, you can add additional domains through their "DirectAdmn" interface.
 
Just wondering what kind of scripting resources are available with this account. I see that it doesn't support CGI, does this mean it disallows the use of scripting languages altogether?

To echo n30's comment, can anyone tell me what kind of CMS options there are for this without the use of CGI? I'd very much like to take advantage of this but it's heavily dependant upon getting an answer.

Also, I saw someone mention that for $5 more you can get cgi support. Is that correct?

Does anyone know how to cancel an old account? It turns out that I currently have an account with them that expires in a couple of weeks. How do I cancel it, so it does not auto-renew?

I don't know what I was thinking when I was creating a new account with them instead of adding this hosting package to an existing one. For some reason, I thought my current hosting was with Dreamhost.

Their Security for sign-up SUCKS!

I live in IL and work in CA and I'm trying to sign-up from a CA internet provider and they didn't even give me a chance to enter a cc number--just "fraud."

NOT A HOT DEAL IF YOU CAN'T SIGN-UP!!!

I just created a support ticket to request cancellation of autorenewal, and the issue was handled in under two minutes. I got a reply from the owner saying it was done.
 
THIS SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! I have been with them over 4 years and just now canceled. Its constant outages, super slow server responce, and now all of my data was deleted (Costing me a few thousand dollars to repair!)

If I had a site worth a few thousand dollars, I'd think I'd have backups offsite.

Dude, why would ANYONE put up with four YEARS of "HORRIBLE" service?? and as KK said, you don't have your own backups? Jeez Louise even I do that with my two and three page sites that don't bring in $100 a year.
