Well it's 10 people counting myself and my wife staying from tonight to Sunday.

Everyone is coming from out of town so they're all staying at our house.

I wonder how long it'll take before I feel like "WTF was I thinking?"

10 people, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 cats and one dog.

This is going to rock! <sarcasm>

So who else has a big group of people staying over for the holiday?

NONE! YAY, ME!

We usually have my mom, sister and 3 nephews at my house for dinner on Thanksgiving along with my wife & I and our 5 kids. The place ends ups being nuts because of all the people getting in each other's way, the kids running around and trashing the house, etc. This year--no companmy--just my wife & I and the kids.

I'm looking forward to it.

We always visit both grandmas for for Thanksgiving. At our peak(15-18 years back), it was probably 30 or so at any one time(apartment), with 40+ over the course of the day. These days, it's probably 20 at the most, with close to 30 during the whole ordeal. Christmas is easily more then that, but it's gotten so big that we've moved it to an uncle's house.

On the other side of the family(house), it's always the consistent 12-15 people, with never more then a few unexpected.

The food has gotten worse over time, as the grandparents insist on cooking, even at her old age. They don't like us in the kitchen to help, & forget about getting it catered.

On both sides, everyone lives in the city. No one stays over. We go home to sleep & reheat leftovers. :)

We have 42 people staying in our studio apartment with us. I thought of putting them up in a hotel but I only made 11 million off my vintage Halo shirt I just sold so I need to conserve my money.
We did save a few bucks by buying bulk beef (10 pounds) online.
