Is there a big performance difference between the 970 vs the 965 if I plan on overclocking?

I don't know because I don't overclock... but I do know the 970 and the 965 are made from the same core molds (Deneb). The 970 is 100Mhz faster than the 965... the 965 is basically a factory overclocked 955 (don't know if that's true but this is the info I got from other forum threads). 😉 ... I have the 965 and so far it is awesome! I still have not been able to psuh all the cores to its limit yet...

How do you like that challenger case? Are you using the stock cooler or an aftermarket? I was actually looking to put together a build similar to your sig.

I love my Rosewill Challenger Case...The reason I bought it because it was rated #1 by Tom's Hardware for gaming case's for under $50. It came with 3 internal fans with options to install more - was the second reason I bought it. Some of it is tool less installation - has an adpater to install a 2.5" SSD (which I'm looking to get on Black Friday).... I think it is has some ports that allow for tubes for water cooling too... It is not as quite as other cases because it does have 3 fans... but I think its pretty quite... I definately would buy another one...

I'm using the stock cooler tha came with my CPU - I'm not planning to overclock... but the case is made for overclockers...
