yeah, we both submitted our reimbursements immediately after we got our confirm emails.

oh well, i just re-ordered mine yesterday and got up early to wait for the onvia link.

it worked, it now shows up in my balance. then, i called onvia to cancel the first order on sat and transfer the coupon over.

damnit tho! shoulda waited another day, AMEX now has $45 off $200 coupons:

- 1571100
- 1000026

i've heard that these HAVE to be used with AMEX. but, everyone uses blue to buy their computer/electronics stuff anyway, right? if not, read up on the benefits, you'll be wishin you had.

hkchan - the points I am trying to make are:

1. that changes to the TOS after 04 Apr have become too restrictive;
2. that they've chosen to basically screw those of us that are using the site legitmately, to recover losses from those using the site illegitimately (such as the 10-percent reimbursement);
3. that pointclick is about to begin enforcing the "you must purchase the item through [our] website to get reimbursed" portion of its TOS.

I agree that the TOS prior to 04 Apr were too "loose" for PC to survive; but I think the changes after 04 Apr have become too "restrictive". It's to the point now where you have to spend 3-4 hours a day to amass $2.50-$3.00 - and that's if you don't get rippped-off by "Get-paid-to-surf" sites not crediting you when you've legitimately visited that site (i.e. the gree-dot is present).

I strongly suspect that by the end of the year, that the TOS will have effectively evolved into the following:

- "Get-paid-to-surf" sites will only be active for 15-45 minutes each day, and the "Get-Reimbursed" sites will be available 30-60 minutes each day (some sites are already this restrictive);
- you will only be credited for one visit per day (current restriction), and possibly a weekly restriction such as a maximum of 4-5 "paid visits per week;
- the "click" value for "Get-paid-to-surf" sites will be reduced to 0.03 per visit;
- limit for the maximum daily you can earn will be reduced to $2.00-$2.50 per day (if there's even enough sites to support this level);
- the reimbursement bonus will be reduced to 5-percent;
- you will only be able to use your accumulated pointclick balance to partially "pay-for" purchases made through the PC network, up to a maximum of 50-percent of the value of the purchase (excluding shipping and tax);
- reimbursement requests must be submitted within 24 hours of the purchase (the online precendence for this has already been established by Buy.com).

....and about that time, people will begin abandoning pointclick like rats on a sinking ship.... :Q

I've not read your whole post but this part's interesting. How do you find enough sites to amass $2.50? That's 50 sites. With a fast connection, I can finish my $0.60-$1.00 for the day in under 10 minutes. I may find 2-3 additional sites later on the day, but I decided it's not worth my time to go through the categories again.

Onvia is on PC right now!

Remember to visit http://www.pointclick.com/
Click Computer/Electronics as the category (right hand side)
It should be listed, if not try again around 6-10AM ET.

$193.49 for the Plextor 12/10/32 you can't beat that!
(after $50 off $200 Onvia coupon and 10% PC).

Pointclick has me confused. If I buy a $300 CPU from ONVIA for example, send in the reimbursement form etc (assuming I follow their procedures) do I get a CHECK from POINTCLICK for the $30 or is it a credit to another purchase from one of their "partners" ????

Also, has anyone ever gotten a check from them?

In this case, you'll get $30 plus the amount in your account totaling up to $300. For example if you have $1,000 in your account when you submit your reimbursement request, you'll get a check for $300 but your balance is reduced by only $270, leaving $730 in your account. If your account has only $10, you'll get a check for $40. They'll issue checks once a month. Yes, I've received checks.

Is it possible to go through Pointclick, then to Mysimon, then to Onvia and get the 10% off instead of waking up at an insanely early time?

Maybe each company buys a certain timeslot, like commercials. It makes sense that an afternoon slot should be worth more than a morning slot. So perhaps onvia.com is going the cheap route and going for morning times. Just a theory, nothing more.

slaman - I believe the time difference between EST and MST time zones is two hours.

Check Onvia.com between the hours of 5-8AM MST

Finally decided to contact them about my July check.
Ususally they were sent out at the beginning of each month.
The CSR said it's gonna be sent by the end of the week.
Let's hope it's true and they will stand strong, 10% back is pretty good.

The amount under "Pending Check" has been reset to $0.00, supposedly meaning my check is in the process of being sent. Check yours.

I bought a DVD player for $160 from Mobshop and I don't have anything in my account with pc. I did all the things that pc requires, now it says $16 is pending. Is it mean I won't get a check until I have accumlated $25?
