10% off at Dell coupons and free shipping on peripherals over $99

Just received a coupon code in email for 10% off at Dell (1 time use only coupons)
Was just checking on z-560 speakers to see if they by any chance had them cheap again (no!)..
153.95 - 10% (15.39) = $138.56 Then I noticed that there was free shipping on peripherals
I'll wait on the speakers, but there may be a decent deal somewhere in there....

[Edit... since the original post, the peripherals have gone from 50 to 99 minimum for free delivery]

To all you "where is the deal???" posters.
Taken from the sticky at the top of hotdeals:

What is a Hot Deal? Here are a few examples:

A discount coupon on a vendor's site.

Info about a good "price match + rebate" situation.

Links to store ads and reposts of store ads, especially if they contain a really great deal. You might include a "heads up" about the specific deal in the thread title and/or your post.

Any nice premium deals, as long as those taking advantage are in the intended group. If a company wants to survey Senior Network Administrators, or if they offer a discount to retail sales employees, and you are in the tenth grade, you probably do not qualify. It is a good idea to point out such limitations in your post.

This, being a discount coupon on a vendor's site, qualifies. I encourage you to read the sticky before posting in the hot deals forum. Good job posting the coupon DrPizza.

Good Day,

Its a hot deal when you can provide more info than I got a coupon in the mail. Skorpio had the right idea when he linked to the dell site. Hell, I just got a coupon in the mail for 10% off at best buy. Does that make it a hot deal, no. Now if I can tell everyone where to get the coupon then it becomes a hot deal.

Thanks Skorpio!
When I posted the thread originally, I had just added the Z-560's to my cart. At that time Dell *DIDN'T* have the 10% off sale going yet, and it *WAS* free shipping on >$50 peripherals. Sheesh, I'll have to tell Dell not to update their site after someone posts a thread if some of you guys can't deal with changes very well.

The original post was intended as a heads up to pay attention to your Dell emails (for those of you who get 1 or 2 a week)... I usually just delete them, but looked at it this time.... the email include a 10% off *ONE TIME USE ONLY* coupon in them. Since I don't know Michael Dell personally, I figured that maybe I'm not the only one who received it. There was also a link in the email to pass on the coupon to a colleague.

But, thanks much Skorpio for the heads up on the 10% off peripherals, because now it's 10% off, with a 10% off *one time use only, a lot of people received them, and Dell has a button to forward the coupon to someone else* coupon = 19% off total... making the Z560's = 124.70 shipped... not a bad price at all.... think I'll be ordering them tonight when I get home.

Do you know why it was originally not a hot deal? Because not everyone has the coupon.

I don't have a Fry's near me, but I don't flame those posts as not being hot deals because it isn't available to me...

Amdskip.... you just ruined my reason for running out of work early.... 🙁
