why not Virignia? Because Virignia is in a pissing battle with California over wines - Virginia desperately wants to develop a wine business (in the wrong climate) and imposes all kind of importing restrictions on wine (and other alcoholic beverages so as to appear not targeted just at wine). It shameless - if I visit a VIneyard in California, I cannot have them ship the wine back to me- I have to carry in on the plane, etc.

Although that doesn't appear to be the reason, not that I don't take your word for it, but it appears that are just getting started....given the limited delivery areas (3 states)....I do, however, receive wine in the mail from the &quot;Wine of the Month Club.&quot;
