You need to attend the Webcast to get the promo code. They're going to give you an e-mail address to send a message to within a certain amount of time and they will confirm your original registration and send you the promo code within 24 hours.

I dont think it will be a common code. They will probably mail out Unique codes to each participant.
 
wtf, I go to joint he webcast which ir egistered for yesterday and the link on newegg is down, i try going to microsfots maze of a website and cant find the link what a rip job!
 
Thanks for tyhe bump. But even though I successfully registered yesterday, when I try to join the webcast now, it tells me "We?re sorry, due to the popularity of this event, registration is currently closed. Please search for another event." WTF did they bother letting me pre-register?
 
I had the same problem, but click under your "My Events" tab. If you've successfully registered before, you should be able to get in on it. I'm in it right now and on the phone for audio.
 
^^Keep in mind that they are looking for your .NET address, and could very well match it up with those that were registered attendees.
