Confirmed at the Broadway and 169th store in Nyc.

Dumbfounded clerk hesitantly rang one up (whilst muttering what I can only assume were not-so "customer friendly" phrases in spanish) at $1.99, despite large shelf tag clearly stating $19.99.

Product description can be found here.

That's when you write down their name, their manager's name, their district manager's name, and regional manager's name. Then you say, 'I don't appreciate saying derogitory phrases in your native tongue.' By any change was one of the words 'beloved patriot?'

How the hell did he even know they were 'not-so customer friendly phrases' if he doesn't even know Spanish? Before doing something stupid like assuming he was disrespectful to you better learn the language. Are you going to try to get someone in trouble for something that you don't even know happened???

Well most of the time when someone says something like in this case in their own tongue, it's derogitory. I can tell you that if I would have been the customer and that happened to me, I would have been all over this. One thing I won't stand for is back-talk from a clerk!

How many different languages should we learn?

Thanks for the heads up. Stopped down at my friendly RS to pick up a 1/4" headset jack and "lo and behold" there were three (3) of these on the bottom rung marked $1.99 each. I like this deal just for the extra four pair of snagless boots that come with them. The RS guy was fun - just asked that I come back sometime and buy something that has a 'profit' on it. :)

Thanks for the deal!!

That sounds a little presumptuous, if you ask me! Why do you immediately assume that the remark made in spanish was derogatory towards white people?

just got back from the radio shack in PHX mall, I picked up the last 2 for $4 :)

dont bother calling.. they'll say they dont have them, and there is no marking on the shelf, I had the guy ring them up, is the only way we could tell.

BTW they have the nice ends on them, (anti catch/break) !!!! plus you can use the caps on your older cables to make them anti break, they clip on with ease and stay forever, nice!!! they come with 8 extras!!! thats let alone worth the $2 easy.

good deal! :)

I got 7 of them - 2 from 1 Radio Shack and 5 from another closeby. I tried to tell a bunch of co workers in an eMail to work and got a bunch of 'so what' responses.

Picked up two (cleaning out inventory in the process) at my local Radio Shack yesterday. If I'm near the mall later today I may see if they have any there, too. Great deal if you don't already have a pair of crimpers.
