This is contrary to what I've read in the past which is that the PQ (Professional quality) is wet and the MQ (Master Quality) is dry (or vise-versa, although I think I've got it right)

You make comments that imply you are also of the belief that some Panasonic tapes use wet. Which ones do you think are wet (or do you know?)?

I've ONLY used Panasonic PQ tapes and have felt like I'm stuck in the "wet lubricant" realm, but the Hosanna Productions page states otherwise. What's your take on the Panasonic lubricant issue, Salvador?

Answering my own question here (or just confusing things more)

The July 2003 version of the Hosanna Productions page (pulled from the Internet Archives) claims that the AY-DVM63PQ are "wet"

The current version of the Hosanna Productions page indicates that the AY-DVM63PQ are "dry" but you should still run a head cleaner before switching.... sounds suspect to me.

THanx for the help. I usually use the Panasonic tapes cause they're usually on sale at Fry's for 2.99 on fridays.
