10 insanely tough games

Lost levels was pretty hard. I managed to beat the game twice during my senior year of high school when I had a lot of free spare periods. I don't think I ever want to suffer through that game again though.

Blaster Master on NES...still have nightmares about never beating that game

Battletoads on any system was brutal, don't think I ever beat any of them.
Contra was easy once you knew the patterns.
Never beat blaster master either, no saves or passwords on that game if I remember correctly, but had a great concept (and what was it, even or odd level bosses you could grenade them and pause it as they were getting hit for easy kills?).

TMNT on NES was just stupid hard as well.
