10 days... 10 days to disarm...

Spose CNN will have live coverage this time too? I know Bernard Shaw won't being doing something like that again.😉

I dont have radio or TV at work.

Are you saying that the US and British gave a final ultimatum? is there a link that confirms this?

*edit* nm its plastered all over cnn.com now all I had to do was refresh! 🙂

wow 10 days is nothing....

Dammit, while I'm all for going to war, why does it have to be in the middle of March Madness!

Yes, it says right on the front of the MSNBC homepage that the US and UK will give a 10 day deadline for March 17th for Iraq to prove it has had a change of heart. After the 17th, it will be too late.

I personally feel they will wait two days after, and attack on the 19th. Just my opinion however.

When you have the most powerful military in the world.
When you're the only superpower in the world.
When you spend 50% of the entire planet's military budget.

You can more or less do as you damm well please.

When you're country is ruled by a Constitution that only requires Congress' approval and not some blind world organization's.

LOL! 😀

Actually, a distant relative of mine is in the US Senete. Sadly, he is far enough removed from me so it doesn't really count, but our family trees do meet about 150 years ago! 😀

Same last name too! 😀

I can't wait! *pulls up chair with popcorn*

The best part is when people start dying! That's always the most entertaining for me. 🙂

its too late to be against military action my friends. its time to realize it is going to happen. even if you disagree with it, its time to turn your attention and support the brave men and women who are putting their lifes on the line to secure freedoms for a foreign population.

let the bombs drop my friend.... let them drop...

I support our servicemen; the tradition runs deep in my family, and the pain felt when the military is used is felt by everyone. I disagree with this war (reasons are for another thread), but I will never waver in my support of our troops.

May the bombing, our victory and occupation be swift and effective.

WTF!!!??! I am not a pacifist, and I believe that we should do something and not keep pussy-footing around, but death is an unfortunate reality of war and not something to celebrate IMHO. Even if they are deserving and guilty...

i dont like the fact that the US doesnt do what the UN sees fit. it makes the UN less influential and thus other countries will not see why they need to follow agreements made by the UN

10 days from now...

And then what? We send weapons inspectors in again?
No, this time we send in the Marines!

What a hundred civilians from the UN could not do, 10,000 Marines from the United States Military will be able to do.

Well, you get my point anyway! 😀

I can't wait! It's just be one of my co workers, a couple people I knew from high school, various people my dad knew... they'll be putting their lives on the line. Oh, boy, this is fun!

It'll be even better when we start the urban combat... it's like Counterstrike come to life! The best part? I never even have to leave my living room!
