It's been a while since I've tried the game.. I think I'll give it another go now

Holy crap there are a lot of updates to get before you can even play! Why can't they just make it one big update instead of having to restart it so many times for each one?

Nice find....now if only I could buy the game for less than $40 or $50. I can't justify with the wife why I should pay so much up front and then have to pay every month on top of that.

is there any limitations for this trial as opposed to the real game other than 10 days?

The following restrictions are placed on all Trial Accounts:

* A level cap of 20.
* A maximum of 10 gold.
* Trade skills are capped at 100 ranks.
* Inability to trade via the auction house, mailbox, or player-to-player.
* In-game chat channels will be unavailable.
* A limit on the number of tells that can be sent.
* Realms with login queues will give priority to customers with retail accounts.

Please be aware that these restrictions are only in place during the trial period. Players who decide to purchase a retail copy of World of Warcraft and activate their accounts will be able to continue adventuring with the same characters and take full advantage of all features included in the retail version of the game.

If you upgrade your account while in the game, completely close out the program and restart for the restrictions to be removed.

Actually, talk to a friend who has the game and he can refer you with a 10 day pass and if you sign up they will get 30 days free.

with the referral/trial account, you still need to purchase the retail game or pay $40 online to upgrade it to a full account after the 10 days are up. you get the 1st month free after that.

I could care less, as long as it keeps all the moronic spammers from getting a free account and using it to spam all the channels with links to their Gold Buying sites..

man dont start playing that game, it will take over your life and you will do nothing else. I warn you from personal experience, it took away 3 months of my life, all the time i thought about warcraft.

The only good thing that came outta that was my work days seemed a lot shorter.

how does the 10 day trial pass work? it requires you to put in your credit card information. are you automatically billed after the 10 day period, or do you need to call them up to cancel?

I have a few of these 10-day passes if anyone's interested. Just private message me with your email address. All my friends play (or quit playing) so they're no use to me.

the game will stop after the 10 days are up. atleast that's what the account page is saying for me right now.

Trial
This account is a Trial account. A retail Authentication Key will be required to continue playing after the trial time period expires.

no you can sign up for multiples. but you won't be able to continue a character you worked on a previous trial, obviously.
