I just scored a THX receiver for $315 out the door.
I'd been looking for a nice receiver to replace my aging surround system.
I went in with my e-mail coupon and the sales guy politely offered to help me.
I told him I was just looking.
I found the receiver was on clearance AND the last one they had was open box.
I found the sales guy and told him that my coupon said it was not valid for open box or clearance items.
He said it wouldn't be a problem, he would take care of it.
He knocked ten bucks off the open box price and ten percent off that.
Now I have to convince my wife we need it. (I previously bought an s-video switcher so that my current receiver could handle all our "stuff.")

im so tempted to buy one. most recent game system i have is the old ps1. getting tired of upgrading my pc for current games and the ps2 has most of the type of games im interested in.

i know i shouldnt though.

edit: went there to check out a movie that they didnt have. browsed around and resisted temptation to buy the ps2.
