Costco will raise their membership price by $5 making the cost $50/year starting May 1, 2006.

BJ's Wholesale already raised there membership by $5 to $45 and Sam's Club is $40, up from $35.

This deal is only for new costco members and if you have one near you, i dont.

appently i got this deal today without knowing. I was planning on signing up and paying with my amex, and the guy handed me a 10 cash card at the end. I didn't even know why i got it till now 😉

Good thing I already have the Costo co-branded AMEX with the cash back option. It pays for the Costco membership every year at least 2-3 times over.

Wouldn't that void the return policy of your prior purchases every year? I think you need to be a continuous member to return old purchases.
