Greetings,

Actually I saw a lot of posting on this thread abt 9278.com. Infact I had very nice experiences with this cards but of late the cards have gone bad. Now thats a personal opinion. So I had to check up for other means of calling to india. I have tried and like nobelcom.com ! It has good quality CC. But for calling to europe or se asia I use onesuite.com !. Its a prepaid long distance service and you can start with 10 bucks and then keep on recharging it over the web. The calls are pretty good and the rates are like 2.9 cts in US and 5 cts to Hongkong etc.

There was a carrier NATN.com which use to carry 23 cts to HYD and 31 cts to delhi.

I could not get the deal though.

I hope this helps

chrisjor , BTW I envy you for the TV you've just got. I didn't have time last couple of weeks to give it a shot though !

NATN has got kaput... thy've raised the prices from 23 cents to 48 cents ! But it was good while it lasted.

I just goto Little India in Edison, and buy some $10 cards (they even have $5 cards) and make calls late Saturday night.... happy so far !

I think wqn.com is a lot cheaper in terms of calling cards rates ....right now I think it is 0.23 / min. for calls all over India.

That 0.23 cent rate at wqn has a $1.50 connection fee & 3 min rounding too.

I have been using Nobelcom, for the past two weeks quality is good on the
0.33 cent card and ok on the cheaper ones (cities special at 0.25 for some cities)

Also, i heard about primus from a friend but isn't the 0.29 cent rate only to selected
cities ?

Looks like Hotfoon is dead deal then.

Has anyone heard about the rate changes calling from India after Apr 1? I heard it was like Rs. 17 or so for 3 minutes which would make it cheaper to have people in India call you.
