10 cent gas in Dayton OHIO!!!!

daammmn.. that meijers used to have expensive gas.. from what i recall.. my father lives right near there... sheet.. i should inform him in case he hasnt heard

<< The price was 42 cents a gallon by 3 p.m. Soon both stations were packed with thousands of cars, vans and trucks. >>

well.. for meijers at least it shouldnt be a big deal.. it probably got evened out by getting a few new customers.. or maybe people stopped for food or whatever after getting gas.... btw, meijers is a HUGE store... similar to super walmart... krogers was just a grocery store... at least the last one i went to

i heard the stations which are side by side, were fueding as the kroger had is grand opening and dropped its prices. meijers then dropped its price, you eventually have a price war.

I can't say I'd ever wait an hour or two just to save $10 on a tank of gas. I'm cheap, but I've got zero patience for waiting in line for that long.

I also can't understand why some people insist on driving 5 miles to the other side of town to save $.02 a gallon.

<< Gasoline prices dropped to an unheard of 10 cents a gallon for regular unleaded during the day-long battle Kroger launched with Meijer Thursday near Harshman Road and Brandt Pike in Dayton. >>

that's about 20 mins from where i am from

man, wish i wasn't 200+ miles away 🙁 oh well, i filled up for $.98 a few days ago

its like 1.13 here in chicago.. which is mad low.. usually we are way above most of the rest of the us.. gotta thank the russians on this one 😀

Lowest here in Massachusetts I've seen anywhere is $1.09, at reputable stations such as Exxon, Mobil, Shell. It's not bad considering gas in 1988 was always 99cents per gallon and stayed that way till the Gulf war, I remember that from when I first moved up here. I don't remember much before '88 because I was too young.
