Ripped from BennyBargains,

10-Bay Black 400W ATX Window Case $32 from compgeeks.com

the calculated shipping for me was ~$7 for FedEx ground

Is this case and psu any good?

I hate misinformation!!!

I can't stand it when someone posts wrong information!

I have purchased 4 of these cases. There is room for two fans. The case runs cool enough for the majority if applications.

CG cases are posted at least twice a month. Yes, basically they are the same inside. Yes, the P/S is a crappy, but decent one. I have purchase about twenty CG cases. The price of the case w/ P/S is a hot deal. For 80% of users these cases are better than Antecs because they cost less than the P/S by itself. For the other 20% buy an Antec, or another high-end case. Why can't the misinformers go to another site - let's say forums.Ladieshomejournal.com?

Case Fan Support:
One (1) 80mm case fan on back panel (preinstalled)
Two (2) 80mm case fans on front panel (not included)

Hey doinmybest, I see it says that, but looking at the picture, I don't see where the air comes in from the front? Could you let me know? 🙂

You have to take off the front cover (a pain - two-three minutes of work), you'll need an 80 mm fan and four fan screws. Air comes in from the bottom front of the case. I've said it before - this case is great for your girlfriend, grandma or your sister. That's about 50% of the population. Grandpa probably wants an O/C'ed screamer! Buy him an Antec.

This looks alot like the silver case I bought a few weeks back, except: looks like steel (mins Al), black, little different in the window, and 400W PS instead of 300. The 300W'er in mine is running a P4 2.53, 1GB RAM, GF4 ti4200, 2x HD, CD+RW, DVD+Rw, and 4 fans (top, back, front, window) with no problems. There is a hole at the bottom of the front panel facing downward that you don't normally see that draws air in. I've had 0 heat problems with the case as well.

will this be good for me, i run all 10k scsi drives and I am having serious heat issues, my current case has horrible airflow

This isn't the greatest of cases, somewhat cheap, and nonmetal. Its fine for a stopgap, but I'mr eady to trade mine in. I'm a rough man, and I've already broken it in several places.

At work I put a hard drive fan on every SCSI drive. No heat problems, but I really don't want to be in the same room as that noise generator. As to why anyone would want to put hot SCSI drives in a $35 case and decent crappy P/S is beyond me.

Take a piece of plexiglass. Cut it to the size of 2 5.25 bay covers.

Cut a 80mm hole in the center.

Using 80mm fan grill as template, drill 4 5/32" holes.

Mount fan/grill with #10 bolts, hotglue plexiglass to case.

Instant HDD cooler, that doesn't suck, like those little 40mm fan ones.

Just wondering why it's a bad thing to be non-metal. I've had metal cases b4 and not noticed a benefit. My Dell has a plastic case and I dun see a bad thing at all...can someone explain.
