thats water.it isnt bad but it doesnt quite approach the high life

Miller has a shitty aftertaste. Natty doesn't. Both are pretty bad in my book, but when i have to go cheap i go Natty.

taste is not correlative with alcohol level

at 5.00 abv, it is no more or less alcoholic than most popular "decent" beers

Yeah High Life is a great cheap beer. Probably my favorite. I used to buy it all the time college. I still don't drink expensive beer, but I do like Yuengling tons more and it's not too much more $.

Why do people think beers like that have a 3.0% content? I always hear things like that. I think it's almost 5.0%.

People that don't like beer, but want to look cool drink their beer ice cold. Cold kills the taste, and you might as well buy something flavorless like Coors Light, or maybe some mineral water. The mineral water will be better for you ;^)

i was in both london and bavaria , in the last <30 days.

neither places serve beers at "room temp".

dont fall for the myth

its not scotch

After working out in the sun on a hot day that actually tastes pretty damn good..until it gets somewhat warm. But Ice Cold it hits the spot. Now I don't know about drinking more than 2 or three or drinking it to get drunk. Why drink beer to get drunk when you can drink hard liquor that works better and doesn't cause you to live in the bathroom all night pissing?

It should be cellar temperature. 50F-55F is what I prefer. Anything colder kills the flavor(not unwelcomed with some beers :^P)

People who are beer snobs and like to show off how big of a beer snob they are like to drink their beer room temperature. That way they can show off how different, edgy, and cool they are while also making fun of anyone who isn't as different, edgy, or cool as them.

My guess is that it comes from goofy liquor laws. Some states set a limit on the ABV of beer that can be sold in grocery stores (I think CO is 3.2%). To get the real stuff, you'd have to go to a liquor store. The big breweries will cut the ABV down so they can still get those grocery store sales. I'm guessing that's where that bad rap comes from.

It's always been around 5% for the big breweries around here in AZ.
