Well, bought one and DMC was not selectable. Not sure why as it's listed on the front page of the promotion. But when it was time to select games, I couldn't select it. Good news is, I got SR4.

That is really weird. It was originally listed in the promotion, but if you check the main page, it isn't in the montage of games anymore. That's a bummer; sorry about that. :\ I wonder if they ran out of codes since they only buy so many for each game.

I've been thinking about getting one so I can get Saint's Row IV, Dirt Showdown and Sniper Elite as those are the only games that I don't have! Makes me wish I could get a silver code, but Saint's Row IV is only in the gold section. I'm kind of hoping Dirt can help cure my itch for a fun racing game that you can just jump into -- that isn't Sonic. I own a ton of racing games, but they're either the technical style (GRID, NFS Shift, etc.) or they push you into a silly story mode. Need for Speed Underground with updated graphics is pretty much what I'd like.

No problem. Truth be told, I wanted Saints Row IV more and didn't realize it was part of the choices until you clued me into it. I ended up with SRIV, Dirt 3 and Sniper Elite. I had all the other games

Dunno why but AMD removed DMC, I redeemed my Gold code yesterday. I wanted DMC but it was gone. If you go to the main never settle page it shows DMC, but when you click on redeem my code there's no more DMC. They got rid of a few games actually.

Is DMC at least half as good as Devil May Cry 3? I am not a huge fan of the style direction they went with Dante in this one, but if the gameplay is good, I can ignore all that crap (I did with Bayonetta).

4 sucked almost as bad as 2 did, and 3 was an excellent game (that and the first one are probably among the 7 best games I've played) but from what I heard wasn't a very good PC port (although probably not as bad as RE4 for the PC was considering that one of the best parts was different from the GC original).

For some reason I canon play DR2. I downloaded it no problem. I go to play it and it gives me the key to copy to clipboard and then it bombs. Batman AA and Batman AC do it as well when I try to activate them....

This seems to be a problem with GFWL and Windows 8. The solution is to go to Microsoft's website and manually download and install Games for Windows Marketplace.

Then try running the game again.

What fixed my DR2 startup problems was changing Windows' audio playback to 16-bit / 48000 Hz. That is a common issue, too.

I didn't have any of the GFWL problems.

i grabbed DMC... i havent played any DMC before it so i dont have those "oh dude his hair is not white anymore, this game suuuuuuuuuuuuuuckssssss" rage moments

so far im enjoying it. Im playing it in hard mode (but i think the game unlocks 2 more difficulty settings after beating it) and is still pretty easy, except maybe for the bosses that are so tough that they can take a while to defeat.
The graphics are very nice, the levels are well done and if you want to 100% each level you REALLY need to look around in every corner.

i think that for 10 bucks was a pretty good purchase, im actually considering trying to 100% the whole game
