Last time I checked, some random kid smoking a joint is not hurting anyone. Victimless crimes are not crimes at all.

Come on all you big strong men. Uncle Sam needs your help again. He has himself in a hell of a jam. There smoking pot and that the end. Alpha males will be so passe, warmongers will so dismay, and black and white issue will start to look gray.

It's smoke, and it's flames now; and the frame is crashing to the ground, not quite to the mooring-mast. Oh, the humanity! and all the passengers screaming around here. I told you; it?I can't even talk to people. Ah! It's?it?it's a?ah! I?I can't talk, ladies and gentlemen. Honest: it's just laying there, mass of smoking wreckage. Ah! And everybody can hardly breathe and talk and .. Lady, I?I?I'm sorry. Honest: I?I can hardly breathe. I?I'm going to step inside, where I cannot see it. Charlie, that's terrible. Ah, ah;?I can't. Listen, folks; I?I'm gonna have to stop for a minute because I've lost my voice. This is the worst thing I've ever witnessed.

It would be cool if reconsideration of the drug war came up in the election. Not so sure it's gonna happen at this point, though. But really, a lot of money is being spent on the "war" when nothing is being accomplished but taking away basic freedoms.

Dont politicians and law enforcement take an oath to enforce the law?

The Feds could have moved in and charged everyone with felonies and thrown them all in jail. That would have been fun to see.

I would rather my police work on solving crimes with victims.

Why didn't the feds come in and lock these criminals up. This is ridiculous. THey should have launched tear gas and opened fire with rubber bullets. We cannot sit idlely by as 10k people break laws.

I dunno, I would still laugh my ass off seeing a bunch of hippies hauled off to FPMITA prison :p.

Drug gangs kill lots of people peddling their funny weed. It is not a victimless crime. You are just living in an alternate reality.

You think the drug gangs are a product of the "funny weed" or a product of the arcane laws which put the supply in the hands of the nefarious? Pot laws were initiated as a way to demonize Mexicans. I think we as a society are past that propaganda at this point. But yet there will always be folks like you who "buy the hype."

I've always found it funny that a freaking plant could be made illegal. Who deemed these lawmakers smarter than that which created our planet?

Speaking of alternate reality you must be stuck in the Hollywood reality because Drug Gangs don't kill people over funny weeds. Its typically over large price tag items like coke and heroin. If you are going to comment on the drug game you should have some actual knowledge instead of propaganda.

With that said......I still think they should have called in for more support. Letting 10k ppl get away with criminal activity in broad daylight is inexcusable.

Takes out sarcasm meter... Top post registers. Bottom post. Tap, tap, tap... Is the needle stuck?

Edit: Guess I spoke too soon on that top post. Geez. Tear gas and rubber bullets? Wow. Isn't smoking pot a misdemeanor anyway?
