Looks really dumb, the 300 loving crowd should enjoy it though. BTW, there is no evidence that men rode horses before 2000 BC.

There's also no evidence they built pyramids. I don't think this movie is shooting for historical accuracy.

seriously. If they wanted accuracy they should have shown the aliens building the pyramids, not some stupid woolly mammoths. lol

Watching this trailer with sound, in my house, not bored as much as I was watching it in summer school has me thinking this looks like a piece of crap.

Looks interesting, at least it's not something based on a comic book or a sequel of some sorts...

I'll go see it just because it's not a remake or a rehash or a sequel to something else which is mostly what seems to be coming out of Hollywood these days.

The Pyramid building is probably a reference back to Stargate where Colonel O'niell says his report shows th eartifacts at 10,000 years old.

first impression (2 seconds after seeing title): hey cool, they never do this time period!
second impression: WTF?
third impression: Is this Apocalypto done in a terribly stupid way?
final conclusion: I will only watch it if being forced to by NSA agents.

Commercials made it look awesome but with 9% on rottentomatoes I doubt I'll even bother downloading it.

It wasn't "that" bad.

I saw it this past Saturday and it was what I expected, just a popcorn flick.

It may not be historically accurate, but I don't give a shit. Looks like an entertaining movie, I'll def. watch it when it comes out on video. I LOVED apocalypto and not many others liked that. This movie reminds me of that.

This movie is the only way to teach our kids about the history of our beginnings... around the time of Jesus, Conan, and William Wallace.
