$10.00 AMD A64 3000+ Retail Processors at Fry's (s754)

I was wandering around Fry's today and saw them marked down to $10.00 bux. There were 4 more in stock. The sales guy said all locations should have them at this price as they are trying to get rid of them.

That sale has been going on for nearly two months. The fact that some stores still have them in stock just goes to show...well, I don't know, you be the judge. 🙂

Be sure and ask if they have any ECS NFORCE3-A motherboards for $15 while you're there. The stores in my area received a huge batch about three months ago (in clean, crisp, brand new boxes, as if they had just been manufactured), but they sold out very quickly. I don't know why their Socket 754 motherboards sold out so much faster than their Socket 754 processors, but that's the way the market is sometimes.

Anyone know if there are any of those motherboards in Manhattan Beach or other LA/OC locations?

I am so glad I didn't try to sell my s754 3000+ and motherboard. I just gave it to a friend that appreciated it.

About a year ago Outpost had that chip + motherboard for $49. Good little chip.
