Why, because you can't live it without some cheating bitch by your side? There's more to it than that, believe me. Remember: every moment spent dwelling on the past is a moment you could be spending having a blast in the present with a new, better girl. :)

As for "seeing her hurt," allow me to recap:

"We just broke up tonight, the coles' notes version is that she cheated on me with this person last year, and she was still interested in him. Not interested as in wanted to date, but just curious about what he was up to. "

Your right, I don't really mean my life sucks, I have a lot to be thankful for. Just right now it feels like it. But the AT crew is always right, dwelling on the past gets you no where.

Move on. Think how you dodged the bullet of being miserable for any longer than you already did.

I don't think you should have waited this long to dump her. My own personal belief is this: If my GF ever cheats on me, for any reason whatsoever, I will leave her. No if's, and's, or but's. If they cheat on you, they don't truly care about you. If thats the case, you're better off without them.

I must also point out that neither of my two girlfriends has ever cheated on me, so I can't say exactly how I would react, but the outcome would be the same.

I'm sorry to hear you're hurting Magnum. Time will heal all wounds. One piece of advice I hope you'll listen to... don't go out and start banging a bunch of girls or anything stupid like that. You won't feel any better (you may feel worse) and eventually you will have to tell your new SO about "this dark part of your past". Would you want to hear your new SO tell you that right after she broke up she slept with a bunch of guys?

Nearly two years ago, for me, and I'm still single. :p

Take advantage of your first year at school to have fun, study hard, enjoy the other people in your dorm and classes. Most of them should be pretty laid back and open to meeting other people. Life goes on, and boy, does it get better.

Shalom!
