Welcome aboard, just happened to me not too long ago (1-2 days? I forgot)

Best thing that helps me is to spend time with other people and get your mind off it.
I always think about it whenever I'm alone and there's nothing to do, so keep your mind occupied.

Well with a name like Magnum, you shouldn't have too much trouble getting back on the saddle ;)

Whatever you do, don't seclude yourself and think about it too much on your own. Surround yourself with friends and socialize.

Nothing helps you forget the last one like the next one :D

Just kidding, sort of. Go out and have some fun. I know from personal experience that just sitting in front of your computer posting on AT is not the way to feel better. Find some people who are going out partying and go with them. Or if you aren't the partying type, find a sympathetic buddy and polish off a bottle of something. Trust me, it works wonders.

And then implement part one ;)

umm going to toronto Uni ehh... so I'm presuming you are 18-19 correct? And you've been seeing this ex for about 2 years... well its over. Your young, you had to know inevitably you would break up and move on. Don't feel bad about it, remember the good times during the high school years and look forward to new experiences in the college years. Good luck :)

Don't even worry about it. You're going to a university man. You'll forget about her in no time. I know it will be hard to forget all of those special moments and memories you both shared but, once you get into school and meet new friends and new girls, all hell is gonna break loose. In fact, I'm sure if the two of you were together long distance, you would be the one calling it off. haha. Good luck!

Just wanted to congratulate you with taking the first step towards improving your life. Well done! ;) And on a side note, you better toughen up and start being a man. You think life sucks? Why, because you can't live it without some cheating bitch by your side? There's more to it than that, believe me. Remember: every moment spent dwelling on the past is a moment you could be spending having a blast in the present with a new, better girl. :)

As for "seeing her hurt," allow me to recap:

"We just broke up tonight, the coles' notes version is that she cheated on me with this person last year, and she was still interested in him. Not interested as in wanted to date, but just curious about what he was up to. "
