May 12, 2008: Letter from USPS reads article was delivered on or about 05/05/2008.

Oct 13, 2009: Letter from USPS reads article is being held awaiting pick-up. (Just found the letter today)

What exactly is this item? Brand New iPhone 4GB 2G. Cost price at the time was $500-$600. It might be worth about $150 now, Paypal had no problem reversing the charges in favor of the buyer. In conclusion, I want my damn package back!

I don't get it.

My interpretation is:

1) OP sells his iPhone on ebay for $500.
2) OP ships phone, but buyer claims they never received it even though tracking says they did
3) Buyer files claim with paypal, and of course paypal returns their money without any investigation at all
3) OP is out $500 (or his phone), whichever way you look at it
5) OP now sees that the package has been found somewhere and wants to get it back even though it is only worth $150 now.

Exactly! ThanX Nate, I already ate up this loss last year, but if I can still get my phone back than I definitely would like too. Called USPS they have put the request in so it is possible I might be able to get it back.

So you used USPS to send a $500+ phone out of the country overseas to Greece?

What exactly did you expect to happen here?

Done it many times before all over the world, expected the same thing as always which is the item getting delivered.

The USPS isn't the one that sucks here, it's the buyer in Greece who's the problem.

Why, if he never received the phone, why wouldn't he issue a refund? You're telling me you would simply just shrug it off and say "well it was only $500, I didn't really need the phone anyways."

I wait a little longer to see if it comes.

Are you daft? The USPS has no control over the buyer in Greece or PayPal.

If the OP wants to blame a postal service, he should blame the Greek postal service. The USPS is just relaying the information they received from Greece.
