Packet8 costs less each month and has flat rate packages for everseas as well.

All-you-can-eat VoIP USA and Canada is $19.95 a month plus 60¢ for the 3% FCC charges versus Vonage at $29.99 plus $1.50!

You can knock down the signup costs with codes like PAYBACK and some others, they all give the same discount, so you can search all you want. ;-)

Packet 8 is slower to add features, but its business product is likely the best on the go.

I don't work for the company, but I use the service and it is pretty good - the DTA-310, that's the VoIP adapter they send you, is small enough to take with you when travelling so you can have "free" long distance anywhere you can get some ethernet to the internet.
