They will be for DDR mobo's

KT133 can go up to 1.5 gigs SDRAM.

Oh, I don't think they will produce them if there's nothing to put them in ;)

I'd say these mobo's are in work as we speak.

[edit] damn, this sounded like a smart@ss reply.. oops.. hehe[/edit]

I just realized, yesterday, that Win9x not only doesn't see
more than 1Gb, but it actually chokes (won't boot). I installed
2Gb in a server and tried to boot into Win9x. Got some weird
error about "not enough memory to blah blah blah". Win2000 (server)
had no problem with it, though :)

there already are 1 gb dimms, they are registered. I"ve had a couple 512mb dimms in my possession and they had to be registered too. Wow on a 4 dimm 760 board you could have 4 gigs of ram. Sucks that the 750 and kt133 wont even read registered ram. I tried, i wanted to boot up with 1280 mb of ram

On my Tyan Thunder 2500 I can put up to 8 GB of PC100 memory and up to 6 GB of PC133 memory. Before I screwed up my BIOS (which I'm still awaiting replacement of) I was running 1GB of PC100 Registered.
