Mwave has 1 Gig Memory Stick Duo's for $110 dollars. OOS right now, but say they'll be getting more tomorrow. This is a nice deal with anyone with a PSP who wants a big mem stick for it. Mwave rocks.

I hope so, somewhere online I saw that Sandisc will have 2gb's out by next month. and 4 gig by this summer. Honestly I don't see a need for a 2gb in my PSP, besides them just being too expensive ($350 or so) 1 gig is plenty of space. Now the only question is can I wait for the 2's to hit to see if the 1's dip below $100 🙂

You must not do much with Video or Audio. I can EASILY reach 1 GB without even thinking about it....

dont think it matters since as long as it fits into the little slot.

but someone may come out with a external "device" that connects via the usb port.. hmmmmm 🙂

Thats what I`m waiting for. For some reason i think someone will create a way to hookup your ipod to the usb port and use that as external memory. It would be very sweet to watch movies from your ipod. Having 10 gigs is awesome.
 
I heard that PSP's have a max of 1GB memory stick. I read that it was so people couldn't find a way to fit a UMD game onto a memory stick. I have no clue if this is true but I read it on some game sites.

Hmmm, this kinda disprove that a bigger mem stick wont work.

Its been tested on some pre-market 2GB Duo sticks, and it does indeed work on the PSP. The readout was a little less then 2GB shown on the PSP as free. Homebrew's future looks bright.

I guess we'll see if 4/1 is a solid date or a guestimate on their part.
Been forced to chop up movies to fit on my 256mb stick.
Ive been using psp9 for video stuff, whats eveyone else been using? Looking for something that'll give me better quality.

I just cancelled my order. The csr on the phone had no date she could give me on an eta. Are there 1 gig sticks anywhere in stock?

Don't be fooled either by phishing sites. If you do find one make sure it's from a reputable vendor.

you're tellin me...i got all excited too, pants all wet and everything! was bout to go get one from fry's and BAM, ad says "memory stick pro" and the picture is of the long memory stick and not the short one 🙁
