when it comes to cases... go get yourself a nice one.
i really like the apex full size tower one @ around $69 after shipping.

for cdrw... this creative 12x10x32x one sounds pretty solid @ $159.00.
much better drive than the 8x4x32 CDRW Mustek drive.

if you really need a floppy,
i'd say don't spend any more than $15 for one. go pricewatch it

as far as keyboards and mice are concerned. grab yourself a decent one.
one that you'll love, not just one that does the job.

this system is definately a better interms of quality.
and if you add it all up, i think it'll still come out to be around
the same price as the one that they are selling.

and com'on, if you're knowledgeable enough to come to anandtech,
shouldn't you know better than to buy an already built system as to
building a quality one yourself?
