Dear Geoff-

Thank you for choosing Dell for your technology needs. Your order has been
placed and will go into production upon authorization of your method of payment.

Well this is a good sign.

Geoff

I just got second confirmation e-mail ... looks cool ... but didn't do overnight shipping 🙁

maybe I should get another one ?🙂

Ordered a couple on ground shipping. Probably wasted my money as it seems my board won't take it and my next board will be DDR ram. :/

I didn't do overnight shipping either, but I got a confirmation email too. It's gonna ship. Same thing with the Epson 880 before, that puppy shipped.

I just ordered 7 so I get free shipping! total was $111.72... Hope this goes through.

**For Canadians that live close to the border..
Get a US Mailing address. Like from Mail Boxes Etc. Make sure they will sign for your deliveries. Get the stuff shipped there! Works for rebates too! And most of the time you don't have to pay for GST and PST when you bring it back to Canada!😀

Hmm...haven't got my 2nd confirmation email yet....

They really gotta find a new pricing database guy.

EDIT: Just got it. Might ship 🙂

Got my confirmation for an order of 4.. check out the math:

4 @ $63.84
ground shipping: + $4.50

Total: $68.34

That means... They were $15.96 each, before shipping!

going to have to pass up this great deal. no use for pc100. if it was 133, i would be all over this. would this hit 133 at cas3?

if anyone responds to my question, please pm me the thread. thanks alot.

<< Hmm...haven't got my 2nd confirmation email yet.... >>

Me neither, but I'm sure it's coming...It says on the email "w/in 24 hours". What OS are you guys running...I know that Win98 runs perfectly @ 512Mb w/ no kinks.

Bang, my opinion is that if it is CL2 at 100Mhz then you have a good shot of it being CL3 at 133Mhz. No guarantees of course - but the odds are in your favor.

i want to get it, but there is no chance my presario will handle it. and i don't know if i would be able to sell it anywhere. think it would go on ebay?

From intel's site.

<<Supported System Memory
The Intel 440BX AGPset supports up to 4 double sided DIMMs (8 rows memory), which allows up to 512MB of system memory when using Unbuffered DIMMs or 1GB when using Registered DIMMs.>>

Things that make you go hmmmmmmm.....

You guys know, this is *registered* RAM, which means it'll only work in certain high-end motherboards with server chipsets...

And heh, if we flood e8ay with auctions I wonder how much any one auction will go for? Hmm...

I ordered 1 of the 256 MB Dimms from before and now I ordered 1 of the 1 GB Dimms. Hopefully I will get 1 of them. I got my order confirmation from the 1 GB, but I still have not gotten my order and cust. number yet... Here's hoping...

Oops... Just got my order confirmation...3:12 CST

Maybe they'll work. I dunno. I don't really care either way 🙂
