If money were that important to me... Then yeah, I'd go ahead and do it, because my life would be so shallow anyway.

But my life is more important (to me AND my family) than any amount of money.

Aren't so many of you so noble.

I'm willing to bet if you died for someone elses negligence and your family knew that they may sue for millions it would happen.

Do those millions bring you back?

I will insure the winnings..

so if I win, the insurance company will get some money..

but if I lose, I will still get some money..

that way my relatives will get the money

Sorry, but that scenario doesn't even compare to making a choice to assume such a risk.

i mean if you look at it this way, if you blow your head off you won't really care that you died

if you didn't, then you would be able to live the rest of your life in retirement

I wonder if Bill Gates thinks of these scenarios in his wet dreams.... he could most likely pay anyone to do anything, if it weren't for the bad press.

It's a "no brainer" either way :)
Yes, I would do it.
Would you climb Everest for $1B? Your chances of dying are about the same. At least this way you get it over with quickly and painlessly.

I'd hire someone with a terminal disease from a poor country to do it for $1M, and keep $999M for myself :D
