Too bad "Toxic Hell" uses Grade X meat... Up here, in the NE, I miss my Jack-in-the-Box and Whataburger...

Beef tongue or no beef tongue...they taste pretty damned good to me. As for the gas and indigestion...what doesn't give me gas and indigestion?!? Just ask my wife! :)

Anyhow, this sounds a bit Dartekish to me...too good to be true...can anyone verify that they've actually got this deal and no apology e-mails???

<< Taco Bell's ground beef is mostly beef tongue -FYI >>

LOL!! Some people would believe anything. Tounge happens to be pretty expensive... And you'd need alot of cows to make all those tacos. -FYI

Mcdonald's supposedly uses kangaroo meat in some places I heard in any country but the U.S. I heard they sometimes use chicken meat in their hamburgers, and the hamburgers look like a slab of goo to me...

and my entire computer cost me only $347 in June 1998!

God people believe anything don't you? The deal is real... I saw an ad in my newspaper and an ad on Fox during Boston Public on TV... I just went down today and their tacos taste and feel as good as ever (like buying ground beef except cooked at a grocery store quality... the meat is fine just like it is in any other place except for stupid rumors floating...). Believe whoever the heck starts any rumor you want, but the meat isn't some ground piece of dog **** sorry to disappoint you... and if it is beef tounge that stuff is actually expensive and high-quality. I don't mean to flame anyone, but many of you are gullible as hell "access micro sucks ass!" or "this food is made of gelatinous brained goo from fried eels!" type of bull****. Buy it or don't buy it, you're the one missing out if you like tacos :). Leaves more for me hehe.

Yup, I also once heard that KFC uses genetically grown chickens that have no heads. That's why they don't use the word chicken in their commercials anymore... hehehe... also the reason why they changed their name from Kentucky Fried Chicken to KFC... for reals people... LOL

Reading thru this thread, FUNNY SH--! The beef tongue has to be the funniest. Taco Bell rocks regardless of what their 'mystery meat' is. Where else can you eat and walk out a bloated pig for $3.00. There is NOTHING like drinking 8 gallons of Dr. Pepper FREE refills...amazing your heart doesn't explode before you reach the car. However, you should have a NEW pine tree air freshener installed in your car before eating there...or else the gas that pours out of your burning anus lays in the car overnite and ferments...YUCK!

I don't think this is national. The tacobell by school didn't have a clue what I was talking about.
I haven't checked the one by where I live yet though.

Since November 2000, in just the Seattle area, two Taco Bells received closure notices from the Health Dept. Closures are documented at the official Health Dept site and also relisted in some online posts. If you search DejaNews for "seattle taco bell violations" you may end up HERE.

If your local Health Dept makes their restaurant closure info publicly available, you might check it out... Also, closures are more severe than just citations for procedural violations seen by an inspector (like not washing hands after using the restroom and then touching food with bare hands). Of course, if procedural violations like hand washing keep repeating, then the restaurant will get a closure notice.

I doubt they use beef tongue, as tongues are pretty damn small and it would take a whole mess of them to make enough "meat" for their purposes. I do know that Taco Bell's meat is grade E whereas dog food is grade D and dog food is much cheaper :)

theres no such things as grades of beef, that was made up by grocery stores to get you to think their beef is better than their competitors.

I love this sh*t.

Why is it these experts never cite a source? Because they JUST KNOW.
