$1 case fans

"...Don't let the price fool you. There are two name brands we offer, Evercool,Powercooler and Top Motor which both are three top DC fan manufacturer..." - looks like they're having a major problem with their math 🙂

<< nice. better than my $2 panaflo's from bgmicro >>

You think these sleeve bearing fans are better than Hydro-Wave bearing fans? Well... good luck with that....

I posted that panaflo deal.... and there is a better deal on the forums. Search for delta and you'll find it..... They are NMB or NBM fans or something of the sort.

Just so that it doesn't seem like I'm crapping on the thread, these fans are very good for the price. And they are a reputable company, at least they were to me when I ordered a while back.

Still, check out those other fans before you order. Just throwing out the other options.

I buy huge amounts of stuff from them. That fan is always ( or for about a year ) been $1. I bought a bunch of those ( read: a gross ) and a bunch of socket a coolers ( read: 40 lb's worth ) and got it all shipped for $200. Shipping was only $7 😀 it said, as much as ya want for $7 whipping, I took him up on that 🙂 ( not sure if the $7 shipping is still going on )

I like the fans, as they are cheap, and quiet ( not as quiet as a ballbearing, but quiet ) and they move a decent amount of air. ( about 30 CFM ) I thow them in all the systems I build. Never had a single problem, but I have also never had to return anything, so not sure how that is. Check out the "ratings" that the site has a link to. You can tell that it has never been edited, a few customers curse the buisness out, but most are positive.

I gave a bunch of these fans to Rainguy, maybe he will stop by and say if he likes 'em or not.

no, however, the price is cheaper.

<< These are sleeve bearing...not ball bearing (which are quieter in general) >>

Sleeve bearing's at the same CFM are actually quieter than ball bearing's, but don't last as long.

Fans come in a variety of speeds and loudness for a certain size, that's probably why you thought sleeve bearing was louder...

<< Anyone know if these have 3 pin or 4 pin power connectors? >>

Anyone know? It doesn't say whether these are tailed or not.

the title of the item in the page is "TURBO-COOL CASE FAN 80mm (4pin) "

so that answers you question whether or not these are tail and how they are tailed (4pin)

and the reply to my other post is noted.

They are 4 pin.

Also, some come with the screws, which most places sell for $1 extra. About 1/2 of the ones I got had the screws.
